These clubs are made possible by parent volunteers. We welcome you to join our team of committed parent volunteers! Looking for parent volunteers at all school sites to help run these clubs.   • After School Enrichment

    Come Join CDC Enrichment! Solana Beach CDC's after-school Enrichment Program gives your child the opportunity to learn a new skill, develop a new talent, and discover a new interest. **Class cancelations are subject to a $15.00 processing fee**
  • Band

    The Solana Beach School District Band is open to all fourth through sixth graders in the Solana Beach School District.
  • Before and After School Care

    Our school-age program is based on the belief that children are decision-makers and should be allowed to make choices. The program encourages development of socialization skills, gross and fine motor skills, problem solving and cooperative skills in a stimulating and safe environment. Children may choose to participate in arts and crafts, organized games and sports, computers, science, and other enriching and developmentally appropriate activities. CDC also offers a daily homework time and a nutritious afternoon snack. Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P) Student Eligibility for free ELO-P Enrollment Students enrolled in SBSD schools who are: Eligible for Free or Reduced-price Lunch, as Determined by the Household Income (will need to provide District Letter) Classified as Foster Youth Experiencing Homelessness Students who do not qualify for free enrollment based on the criteria above, may still participate in the fee-based Child Development Center programs.

  • CDC Preschool

    It is our mission to provide children the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively in a safe, secure, and inclusive environment. Parents play an important role in helping to enrich Child Development Center programs. We welcome your interest, involvement, and support. Please let us know if you ever have questions or concerns. Dates: June 3 - August 1 (Holidays: June 19, 20 & July 4) Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Location: Carmel Creek (incoming K through 3rd graders) Rates: $55 per day or $232 per week CDC Summer Weekly Themes: June 3-6: Roar & Explore June 9-13: Figure it Out!     The Summer Academy is a program extended by invitation only to select Solana Beach School District students.
  • Summer Enrichment

    The Solana Beach School District Summer Enrichment Program will be open for registration at 10:00 a.m. on March 18, 2025, and is available to students entering Grades K-6. This year’s program promises to be full of excitement and adventure! Meet new friends and create lasting memories this summer. Please note: All students will initially be placed on a waiting list. Students will be added to classes beginning April 28, 2025, in priority order as follows: SBSD student eligible for reading intervention SBSD student who qualifies for the *Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P). Please visit our website to see if your child qualifies for the ELO-P. Current SBSD student or will be enrolled in SBSD in the fall of 2025 Students residing outside SBSD boundaries Once priority 1 and 2 students have been placed, priority 3 students will be admitted in the order registrations were received, followed by priority 4 students until classes reach capacity. Summer Enrichment will run from June 11—July 11, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Holidays (no classes): June 19, June 20, and July 4
