Solana Ranch - Speech and Debate

Summer Enrichment / Summer Enrichment - Solana Ranch 2026 -
2026 Summer Enrichment

Our class will focus on researching and note-taking on various topics, speech writing, rehearsing, presenting, debating, peer feedback, and self-reflection. Students will practice skills in public speaking, teamwork, respectful disagreement, persuasion, and thinking on their feet. In addition to speeches and debates, we will practice speaking through various other means, such as newscasts, “TED Talks,” poetry, and telling jokes!

    4. Students residing outside SBSD boundaries
  • Once priority 1 and 2 students have been placed, priority 3 students will be admitted in the order in which registrations were received, followed by priority 4 students, until classes reach capacity.
