Summer Enrichment / Summer Enrichment - Skyline 2026 -
2026 Summer Enrichment

Join us as we blast off from kindergarten and embark on exciting new adventures while strengthening our reading, writing, and math skills! Through hands-on experiments, creative art projects, and engaging games, students will build lasting friendships and create memories that endure. This summer program is designed to bridge the transition from kindergarten to first grade, ensuring students feel confident and ready for the next school year. Get ready for a fun-filled summer of learning, exploration, and new experiences!

  • If your student is placed on a waiting list, students will be added to classes in priority order as follows:
    1. An SBSD student who is eligible for reading intervention
    2. SBSD student who qualifies for the *Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P). Please visit our website to see if your child qualifies for the ELO-P.
    3. Current SBSD student or will be enrolled in SBSD in the fall of 2026
    4. Students residing outside SBSD boundaries
  • Once priority 1 and 2 students have been placed, priority 3 students will be admitted in the order in which registrations were received, followed by priority 4 students, until classes reach capacity.
  • Some classes may require an additional fee for supplies.
  • Summer Enrichment will run from June 10 to July 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Holidays (no classes): June 19 and July 3
  • Please review our FAQ page for answers to common questions
  • The Child Development Center (CDC) will offer childcare from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A separate registration and fee are required. Please click on CDC Summer Programs Childcare to register.
  • Financial assistance may be available for summer enrichment and childcare through the ELO-P. Please contact the CDC or visit our website to see if you qualify. You may also email cdc@sbsd.net to request the childcare fee schedule and ELO-P eligibility information.
