The Solana Beach School District Band is open to all fourth through sixth graders in the Solana Beach School District.
The Summer Academy is a program extended by invitation only to select Solana Beach School District students.
MONART DRAWING: Take Flight!
Examples: Birds, butterflies, dragonflies, flying squirrels, hot air balloons, airplanes, & more!
In this drawing class students' art work will take flight as we learn how to draw exciting winged animals and modes of transportation that fly. The Monart drawing method teaches that anyone can learn to draw realistically. Students will have the opportunity to use a bounty of various art mediums such as oil pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, markers, chalk pastels etc. while learning drawing techniques that will enhance their drawing skills. A fact sheet about the subject being drawn will be reviewed and sent home with each completed drawing.
