"Ready, Set, Go!" aims to familiarize incoming kindergarten students with classroom expectations and norms so that they feel confident to begin their academic journey. Students can meet their potential classmates and develop social skills before kindergarten. Students will also practice academic skills, including letter and sound, guided writing, counting, number practice, and art. Summer Enrichment will run from June 10—July 9, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Holidays: June 19th and July 4th Please review our FAQ page for answers to common questions The Child Development Center (CDC) will offer childcare from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. A separate registration is required. Please contact our Child Development Center (CDC) for space availability. There may be fee assistance/aid available for Summer Enrichment and childcare through the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P). You may also email cdc@sbsd.net for childcare fees and ELO-P eligibility information. The Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P) is funded through Assembly Bill 130 and provides after-school and intersession learning programs for qualifying students. Scholarships are available for families that qualify. Space is limited and based on program capacity. Click here for an application.
